Please read entire description before registering. By registering, you are agreeing that you have read and understand all requirements for participants.
NOTE: Class start and end time are CENTRAL time zone.
Law (2 hr) - During this Law webinar, we will be discussing the latest updates from The Board, current CE requirements, managing your massage license, understanding what an establishment license is and why it's important to make sure the location in which you're working has one, & retiring and reinstating your license. Questions will be welcome at the end of class to make sure you leave with a complete understanding of the rules, regulations and policies that govern massage therapists in Tennessee. (This class is approved by the TN Massage Board. Approval Code: TN010123-05)
Links for class will be sent out at least 24 hours ahead of time. Please make sure the email address you are registering with is correct. If it is incorrect, you will not receive emails related to class.
Class will be presented via Zoom, so please make sure you have Zoom installed and have a basic understanding of how to use it. In order to respect the time of all participants, troubleshooting will not be available for 30 minutes prior to the start of class. Because this is a webinar, participants are required to have their cameras on for the duration of the class. Any participant that turns their camera off or wanders away for more than 15 minutes will not receive CE credit for that 2 hour class. If a camera is absolutely not an option, contact Mandi Parker ([email protected]) before registering.
Even though this is an online class, I ask that it is treated as if it was in person: reduce all distractions and give class your full attention, take notes, ask questions etc. All of the material covered in this webinar are things that you agree that you know when you renew your massage license or apply/renew your establishment license, so please make sure that is true by the end of this class.
Chat will be set up so students will only be able to message the instructor. This is arranged this way so all students feel comfortable asking and answering questions, as well as letting the instructor know if they need some clarification on any of the topics.
Instructor: Amanda "Mandi" Parker
